Invited Lecture by Dr. Ravindra Singh

Dr. Ravindra Singh, Professor, Department of Biomedical Sciences,College of Veterinary Medicine, Iowa State University, USA  will be delivering a lecture at RGCB. He is the inventor of Intron Splicing Silencer N1 (ISS-N1) target that made the first FDA-approved drug (Spinraza/Nusinersen) for the treatment of spinal muscular atrophy, one of the leading genetic diseases of children and infants. Title of the talk:  ‘A super minigene offers novel avenues for understanding gene regulation’
